@dahsd08 LOL. You thought Republican and Fox News LIES were the only legal currency that should work in this country? This ain't no Bush Country no more and we have the internet to puncture all your lies and expose your hypocrisy. The "liberal" media does not control the narrative anymore, and neither does the Fair & Balanced media. Deal with it.

@mostecri Although, thechnically, it was the GOP that was bought by various corporations. They then told their subsidiaries in govt to dumb down the education system until we're left with a pupulation of rubes who are willing to work menial jobs while actually fighting AGAINST unions, minimum wages, public healthcare, banking regulations and consumer protection agencies, all for the sake of being able to piss off the Hollywood LIBRULS.

@Joe402 -- I gotta disagree. To pass, the bill needed a 60-40 margin in the Senate. How does anyone get Lieberman, plus Lincoln, Nelson, and every other conservative Dem, to vote for a stronger bill? I don't have the answer, and nobody else at the time did either. It's not the bill I wanted, but it's the one that could squeeze through the US Senate -- which, because of both the Constitution and its operating rules, is the most undemocratic legislative body among major industrial democracies.

Don't celebrate you sycophants this bill is watered down and ineffective thanks to lobbyists and the Obama administration's love of lobbyist money.
